LAND USE AND ZONING SUPERVISOR
ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICE

Redwood County is seeking applicants for the position of Land Use and Zoning Supervisor in the Environmental Office. This position reports directly to the Director of Environmental Services.

The Land Use & Zoning Supervisor serves the public of Redwood County on environmental issues by assisting in the development, evaluation and implementation of land use planning and zoning programs. The Land Use & Zoning Supervisor provides information related to regulations and ordinances governing environmentally related activities and participates in the enforcement of violations. Assumes responsibility for the Land Use Division in the absence of the Director.

Three years of progressive, related experience in the program area of land use planning, ordinance enforcement and environmental services is required. A qualified candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written manner. Supervisory experience is preferred.

Bachelors Degree in Geography, Planning Urban Affairs, Environmental Studies, Public Administration, physical or biological science or a closely related field is required.

This position is set at Grade 14 on the non-union pay schedule, and has a starting salary of $20.26 per hour.

PART-TIME CLEANING POSITION
CUSTODIAN I - MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT


Redwood County is actively recruiting qualified applicants for part-time cleaning position - Custodian I. This position reports to the Building Maintenance Supervisor.

The responsibilities of this position include daily cleaning of facilities, and seeing that the building is secure.

Minimum qualifications for this position include a high school diploma or one year related on the job training. Skills required include the ability to work in a professional and confidential office environment, and the possession of a valid driver’s license. Additional qualifications are detailed in the position description.

The starting salary for this position is $10.95 per hour.

LEGAL ASSISTANT/OFFICE COORDINATOR
ATTORNEY’S OFFICE

Redwood County is seeking applicants for the position of Legal Assistant/Office Coordinator in the Attorney’s Office. This position reports directly to the County Attorney.

Responsibilities include overseeing the daily administration and support activities for the County Attorney’s office to include supervision and training of support staff, scheduling attorney appointments and court hearings, review and distribution of incoming communication/materials and the maintenance of various accounts and files.

Must have at least three years of recent related progressive legal experience providing the ability to plan, coordinate, direct and evaluate the work of others as well as the ability to develop and implement Department policies and procedures.

Two to four years of related college level course work is required with a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

This position is set at Grade 11 on the non-union pay schedule, and has a starting salary of $16.08 per hour.

NURSE SUPERVISOR
PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICE


Redwood County is seeking applicants for the position of Nurse Supervisor with Redwood County Public Health Service. This position reports directly to the Public Health Director.

The Public Health Nurse Supervisor participates and assists in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of Redwood County Public Health services and programs; supervises and evaluates the professional staff; and performs Public Health nursing duties. Ensures that the science and principles of Public Health are carried out and that safe and quality Public Health services are provided.

Minimum Qualifications: MN PHN Certificate, MN RN License, Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a Nat’l League of Nursing approved program. MN driver’s license. A minimum of three years related clinical experience, preferably in Public Health, including at least one year supervising experience.

This position is set at Grade 17 on the non-union pay schedule, and has a salary range of $25.52-36.97 per hour.
