    Hearings will be limited to 4 an evening.  Special hearings will be scheduled when needed to accommodate months with more than 4 projects and for applicants that can not wait for the next scheduled meeting date.

     

    Applicants that submit a completed application before the deadline will not be charged extra for a special hearing.  If applicants submit an application after the deadline date and can not wait until the next scheduled meeting the fee will be doubled to hold a special hearing.

     

    Meeting nights may be cancelled if there are no agenda items.  Please contact the Redwood County Environmental Office at (507) 637-4023 for details regarding specific dates.

Take a drive along the beautiful Minnesota River Valley Scenic Byway, visit historical sites like the Sioux Uprising site and the childhood home of Laura Ingalls Wilder, or stop into Jackpot Junction and try your luck!

Walk the Redwood County trails, camp or stop to see the beautiful waterfalls at Alexander Ramsey Park, Minnesota’s largest municipal park.

Annual area events include the Laura Ingalls Wilder Pageant (July) and Farmfest at the historic Gilfillan Farm (August).
