Managing the Pressure & Positioning for Change

This resource guide is designed to help human service agencies deal with change and the impact of budget reductions.  Tools and resources that have been used by one or more human service agencies in Minnesota are included to help with managing the changes in your own agency.

As a starting point, we want to recognize that all forms of human change are complex.  When preparing agencies for change, managers need to correctly analyze the situation so the response is not counterproductive to the desired outcome.   Here is one example of how to look at the stages of change and how to manage it more effectively.
